Pluto brings endings as well as beginnings, so we must hope the end of Ukraine war is not the beginning of a new world war. Transit Jupiter will enter his eleventh house end of march beginning of April. Jupiter is known to enlarge things, house of friendship. Jupiter is strong here because it supports and co-rules Pisces. Friends will influence the war beneficially.
In the natal chart the Moon being conjunct the fourth cusp, represents the hearth and home, family sentiment, soul ties with the home. In this case, in political charts, the home is one’s country, the home front. The moon being in Leo there is also justifiable pride. Interestingly Leo is considered an actors sign, and also a royal sign, and here we have a man who was an actor and is now a ruler. The ability to play one’s part in public and to do it well. To be revered and admired. But it takes more than that, and more than the ability to move and galvanize people, to win a war. The invasion of Ukraine boundaries is symbolised by the third house, and Volodymyr’s Mars, opposition his Sun. Volodymyr’s chart shows him to be clever, resourceful, he has ingenuity and a good mind, he is not transparent. His whole chart shows this. He is a man of vision, his ninth house Sun, his Gemini ascendant, his Neptune ascendant opposition, Venus conjunct his sun, shows he values peace not war. He would be a wonderful leader, because his chart is a creative one, not a destructive one. The emphasis is on culture, the arts, architecture, transport, travel. Good living standards, luxury living and entertainment for the collective, (Moon-Leo fourth house aspect Pluto-fifth, both leaders) have ideals and a vision of the future. His weakness is he has too much faith in the goodness of human nature. While Mr Putin has no such illusion. His strength is he is modern and progressive at heart, Saturn Retrograde; one who comes away from the old way of things but preserves the grand things, in Leo; Gemini rising, one who can mix the old with the new, move with the times.
Was This Russia Ukraine conflict necessary?
In short, Volodymyr Zelensky is capable of doing what Vladimir Putin should have done! This Russia Ukraine conflict need never have happened if Putin wished take over Ukraine. He could have made his country very rich, and a fine place to live, and open, so that Ukrainians, and others, would want to be a proud part of it. No wars are necessary then. No money or lives wasted, no cities devastated. Volodymyr is a leader with the visionary quality to do just that with Ukraine. It is sad it is now unlikely to happen. The Transits are transit Chiron conjunct the south node in Aries, opposition Pluto. Chiron is unjust situations, the south node the past, symbolizing the past invasion by Russia, Pluto beginnings and endings, everything transformed, This symbolizes the war and its effects. The fifth house, eleventh house axis. this transit doesn’t symbolize defeat. Strangely it depends on him taking a risk, the fifth house; gambling, risk, chance, hope. And so, in it’s darkest hour, there is yet still hope for Ukraine.
Fear of Assassination
Does Mr Zelensky personally need fear Mr Putin’s secret hit men? Yes, ( Retrograde Saturn Leo, fourth house, traditionally in astrology means death of kings or leaders, there are other aspects too) but not during this war. Its more a later legacy, a pay back time he needs to fear. Does Mr Putin need fear Volodymyr’s hit men? Yes, but this only shows by synastry, an old method of chart comparison.
