Will I Marry Him?
Picture it, you are seeing a man, and he interests you enough for it to feel predestined, will I marry him? In your idle moments your thoughts drift like clouds, making patterns of the future. Will you be lovers? Will you be a moment in time that is like a cloud all too swiftly sped away, too beautiful to recapture ever again, or will you marry? Is there any permanency here for you with him? Will you marry?
It is a difficult question, a haunting question that impels an answer because it inspires both mingled fear and trepidation and mixed, delicious excitement. This question is asked more than any other.
An astrologer could help find answers, but what can you tell from the chart yourself? If you have a little understanding of astrology here is something you can try.
Put his chart next to yours. This is basic astrology and a very simple and traditional way of finding if two people are to be linked together. We are not simply comparing Zodiac Signs but the Ruling Planet of your First House. This is not the only way to know but it is one of the ways that can show a good prospect in a chart.
Look for an aspect between the ruler of your ascendant and the ruler of his ascendant. If there is one, there is a good chance this relationship will be more than a passing fancy. Such aspects are one of things astrologer look for when trying to determine if there is to be a marriage of any kind between people. If the aspect is a very hard one, there could still be a marriage or long term relationship, but of a more difficult kind. I will give an example of a well known couple to illustrate what I mean.
Comparing the charts of Camilla Parker Bowles and Prince Charles is a easy example. Both charts have the Sun ruling the ascendant. Charles and Camilla’s Sun trine each other. A trine is a good aspect. So we know there was always at least the possibility of marriage here. To clinch it Charles’ Sun conjuncts Camilla’s Jupiter (Jupiter signifies making things legal) on the cusp of Camilla’s fifth house. The seventh house is the house of marriage, the fifth house the house of love affairs. So we see in this example the potential for marriage, the love affair becoming legal. The rest is history.
If the aspect between your ascendant and his is a difficult one, say a square or a quincunx. You might still marry but there will be something to overcome first!
Comparing charts in this way is called Synastry, or Compatibility. True synastry becomes a lot more complex than this basic example and involves many more such comparisons and analysis, and its findings more detailed than this. A full and detailed Synastry reading can describe to you the place you will live together, and what will happen in the relationship’s future. If you have concerns and questions about a relationship I will be happy to help with a Compatibility chart reading.
